Dwarka will be sadly missed by his wife Gargena; children Kamta Roy Singh (Bonita), Janet Guyadin (Balo), Merlin August (Rayman), Ronald Singh, Nadia Gaiadeen (Latcho); grandchildren Leiza Kewall, Vanessa Singh, Alex Singh, Leea Kewall, Sophia Gaiadeen, Burton Guyadin, Ethan Gaiadeen and Ella Crystal Grace Singh.
Dwarka was born in Vigilance, Guyana and moved to Canada with his wife on November 17, 1995. While in Guyana he worked as an accountant for the Ministry of Agriculture for 18 years and when he moved to Canada worked as a maintenance worker for 14 years. He was a dedicated cricketer, domino player and coach in both Guyana and Winnipeg. He was always a father figure to the general community at large.

A service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Thomson “In The Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
