With love and sadness we say goodbye to Lloyd, he will be greatly missed by his son Steven, daughter in law Olivia, mother Irene, sister Sandra, brother Lyall (Lyall's wife Donna) and cousins Gerald and Ron Tkachuk (and Ron's wife Sharon).
Lloyd was employed by the RCMP for 28 years until he retired at the age of 51. He was a black belt in tae kwon do, loved playing cards, digging in his garden, tinkering in woodworking, and preserving and cooking in the kitchen.
A come and go gathering will be held on Tuesday July 29th from 10am to 12pm at Klassen Funeral Home 1897 Henderson Hwy.
LOVING MEMORIES
Your gentle face and patient smile
With sadness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the heart,
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one
Nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.
