Eileen will be greatly missed by her sisters Doris (Peter deceased), Grace (Tom), Janice (Armond deceased) and Donna (Gill); One brother Garry (Loraine); sisters-in-law Minnie and Noella and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband Alex Dixon on December 4, 1986; Father and mother Esther and Albert Porath; Four brothers Alvin, Carl, Lars and Neil; sisters Kathleen (Jim deceased) and Bertha (Peter deceased); and sister-in-law Clementine.
Eileen was an avid homemaker, painted scenery pictures and loved going blueberry picking. Later in life she volunteered for Deer Lodge Hospital and the Christmas Cheer Board.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bethesda Church, 1350 Grant Avenue.
