Elizabeth "Betty" (Sawatzky) Giesbrecht

It is with great sadness that we announce unexpected, yet peaceful passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Giesbrecht (Sawatzky) on September 19th, 2024 at the age of 73, at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Trevor, daughter in-law Cathy, granddaughter Jessica, sisters Susan(Harry), Trudy, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many relatives.

She was predeceased by her parents, Helena and Cornelius, a sister, her brother-in-law Don, and the love of her life, her husband Cornelius.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their love and support of Betty over the past 9 months.

Service will be held at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church on Friday October 04 at 11:00am.

Located at 500 Lagimodiere Blvd.
