It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Baba and Great Baba Elizabeth at the age of 82 at Charleswood Care Centre.

She is predeceased by her husband Jim, son Jimmy, daughter Lesa, son-in-law Ken, her parents as well as all her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Mario) Da Costa, son-in-law Michael McMillen, grandchildren Amanda (Marc), Melanie (Colin), Kayla (Alex), Tyler (Shelby) and Kristin (Derek); great-grandchildren Ella, Theo, Freya, Klowey, Logan and Leo.

She worked at Canada Packers for 10 years and Motor Coach Ind for 30 years retiring on December 30, 2003. Mom loved working in her garden always took pride in all she grew. Late fall 2019 Mom fell and a short time later she was diagnosed with Dementia. She stayed in our home till April 2021 when she was placed into care at Charleswood Care Centre.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for their amazing and compassionate care you gave to mom.

As per Moms wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow. A Celebration of Life will take place next summer at her favorite park.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba in Mom’s name.
