

Betty-Lou was predeceased in 2000 by her husband of 49 years, Kevin and by her parents Cecil Coultas and Gladys Coultas (Moore). She leaves behind her daughters Judy Peters (Bob) and Nancy Ullenboom (Ray) and sons Neil Best (Arpad Molnar) and Rick Best (Marie).
Betty-Lou is also survived by her grandchildren Russell Peters (Sarah) and great granddaughter Ella; Allison Peters (Mehdi); Matt Ullenboom (Lisa) and soon to be born great grandchild; Derek Ullenboom (Iwetta); Ryan Best and Megan Best; and her cousin Vivian Holland (Don). She also leaves behind her nephews and nieces Bob Best (Joyce); Shelagh Pickard (Les); Jim Waugh (Charlene Prickett); Craig Ashley (Cecile); Linda Pugh and her dear friend of 74 years, Bev Routley.
Betty-Lou was born on March 16, 1927 in Toronto, moving to Winnipeg in 1951 upon her marriage to Kevin. Until the last three years of her life, Betty-Lou called 590 Waverley Street in Winnipeg her home. Betty-Lou touched many lives with her love, compassion, graciousness and kindness.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 13th at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 755 Elm Street, Winnipeg, with reception to follow in the parish hall. Following the reception, interment will take place at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
Thank you to all of Betty-Lou’s care givers at Victoria General Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre, her spiritual providers and to her many friends and visitors who brightened her days.
