Peacefully on Wednesday, January 1st , 2014 at the Victoria General Hospital, Florence Armstrong, aged 89 years, passed away.
Florence was predeceased by Wreaford (Army) Armstrong, her husband of 31 years and her sisters Anne, Marion, Edith and Alice and brother Thomas.
She is survived by her daughters Dawn, Jill and Karen, her grandchildren Kate, Matthew and Todd, her great grand daughter Evey, nieces Donna, Beth, Alice, Gaye and Laura Jean, and her nephews Barry, Brian, Bruce, Bob, Doug, Bruce, Herb, Sheldon and Eric.
Florence taught at a number of rural schools and in Flin Flon, Manitoba and was a lifelong learner. She loved to play bridge and her passion for art gave her immense pleasure as a member of the Fort Garry Palette Club.
Family and friends are invited to share remembrances of Florence at the Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard at 2:00 pm., on Thursday, January 9th, with a reception to follow.
