FLORENCE MAY DUNN November 21, 1926 - May 3, 2014 On May 3, 2014 Florence Dunn (nee Cooper) made a graceful exit in Langley, British Columbia following a short illness. She was 87 years old. Florence was born in Devonshire, Ontario, and was often referred to as "the energizer bunny" as she had such a zest for life. She is also survived by grandchildren Nathan Dunn (Randi), Travis Dunn, Cheryl Wyatt (Darren), Jaclyn Hodgins (Adam), Glenn Sutherland, Gabe Milne (Samantha), Charlotte Milne (Joe) and great-grandchildren Sophie, Levi, Delaney, Kael, Callan and Charlie. Florence enjoyed a long career in the restaurant business, the last 20 of those years spent at the Delta North Star Inn in Winnipeg. She loved her customers, especially talking with the children that came in with their families. Mom enjoyed her leisure time spent at Lake of the Woods with Dad, fishing and playing crib. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Flowers gratefully declined. If you wish to make a donation please do so to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the Langley Hospice for the care they provided mom in her final days.
