Peacefully on July 25, 2013, Franceschina passed away at Riverview Hospital at the age of 82, with her loved ones at her side.
She was predeceased by her sister Rosaria (Guiseppe), sister Maria (Eugenio) and brother Antonio (Ninetta)
Franceschina leaves behind her husband Francesco, daughter Patricia (Jeff), grandchildren Francesca, Cassandra, Randall and Alysha and great grand-child Jaden, her sisters Ermelinda (Pietro), Gina (Eduardo) and many nieces and nephews and in-laws in Canada and Italy
Franceschina was born in Italy on September 20, 1930 and was married on January 28, 1961. When she immigrated to Canada she worked at Krebb Shoes & Clothier Factory. She visited Italy many times.
Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday July 30, at 10:30 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Ave. Winnipeg MB.
Pallbearers will be: Jeff, Randy, Randall, Nello, Michael and Ettore.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Riverview Health Centre for their help during Franceschina’s final days.
