Francisca C. Raymundo

It is with heavy hearts and much love, the family announces the passing of Mrs. Francisca C. Raymundo on Friday December 25 2020, at the age of 104 years old, at their residence surrounded by her family.

She was born September 20, 1916 at Manaoag Pangasinan Philippines. She immigrated to Canada in 1983.

Francisca (Mommy) will be forever and sadly missed by her four sons, Cesar, Manuel (Dovie), Jose, Esteven (Rose Ann) and two daughters Linda (Nick), Rosemarie (Pedro); twenty grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren; various relatives and friends here in

Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto, Alberta, England, USA and in the Philippines.

She was predeceased by her husband Esteban Raymundo, son Ponciano (Viktoria), daughters Leonnie, Lydia, and Marilou (Rodolfo).

Francisca is a well-travelled person in her younger years having taken the opportunity to travel to London, USA, France, Italy, India, Bombay, Karachi, Pakistan, Japan and Hong Kong.

She will always be remembered as a loving, kind, generous, religious and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She never hesitated to help people, especially those in need.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on January 2 at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Samson presiding. However, due to the pandemic restrictions only family is allowed. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Avenue.
