Please accept my condolences on the recent passing of your father. The losing of a loved one is such a difficult period in one's life. I know from our recent talk that you shared many years of wonderful moments and times with him. Hopefully, these memories will provide some solace on this day in which his life is celebrated.

Many of us at Friends of Birds Hill Park knew Fred Zaeh as a founding member and regular participant at our annual clean-up and barbecue, and at the AGM.  We remember Fred as a steadfast member, a congenial man, and a thoughtful contributor.  He will be missed.  Please accept our heartfelt condolences. So sorry, Irene, to hear of the passing of your father.
His strength, common sense and guiding spirit were always evident when you talked to me about him.
He has left you and your family wonderful memories to cherish always.

Cathy and I are saddened to hear of your father’s passing. We know that you and he have had a very close and special relationship. 

Irene, throughout the many years of our friendship you had talked about your father often and I have developed a sense of his personality through your descriptions and activities that you shared together. Also, I see where you get the dedication and passion you share with those who are in your life, the many causes that you associate with, and activities that you cannot say no to. Your father will live on through you and your family. Take comfort in that he is in a better place and that… This too shall pass.

We are saddened to hear of Fred's passing.  Years ago Fred and his wife lived next door to my husband.  He took my husband, Sieg under his wing and got him started in the electrical trade.  They spent many years working together at Comstock.  I will always remember his smile and concern for our family.  May you find comfort in the many memories you have as they are a precious gift.
