Garibaldi is survived by his wife Giannina, children Lawrence (Heather) and Lisa (Daniel); grandchildren Sara, Colin and Sabrina D’Ignazio, Zachary and Alana Robert; brothers Giuseppe, Paolo, and Gabriele; special niece and nephews, Pina, Gennaro, Vince and Fernando Esposito.
He was predeceased by his parents Giacomo and Maria; siblings Pasquale and Filomena; brother and sister-in-law Adele and Vincenzo Costantini.
Garibaldi was born in Montefino Italy, he married Giannina in 1959 and came to Canada in 1962 to make a better life for his family.
Viewing will be held at 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Holy Rosary Church 510 River Ave. Following entombment at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street there will be a reception at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
