George "Suds" Sutherland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of George Alfred Thomas Sutherland on January 13, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda and devoted daughter, Karrie (Lisa).

George was predeceased by his parents George and Adella, father and mother in law Nick and Peggy and brother in law, Peter.

He also leaves behind sister in laws, Barb (Don) and Carol, niece Kathy (Dave), nephews Rory and Keel and great niece Kellie.

George was employed by Weston Bakeries for 38 years where he was a dedicated hard worker. After retirement, he took a job at Odd Lots which kept him busy and worked with many who respected him.

He will be missed by all that knew him.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Our thanks go out to the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital.
