Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Victoria, daughter, Monique (John), sister, Alice Lester, brothers, Herve (Brenda) and Bond (Veronica), brother in law, Douglas (Leslie), as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Gerard was predeceased by his parents, Etienne and Victoria, siblings, Aline, Real, George, Fernand and parents in law Robert and Denise
Gerard spent his early years in St.- Pierre Jolys, before moving to Winnipeg with his family as a young boy after the passing of his Father.
Gerard worked for over 30 years as a Long distance Truck Drive and ended his driving career due to illness while working for Arnold Bros. Transport.
He enjoyed watching baseball, especially if his Blue Jays were playing.
He will be sadly missed by many close friends and others
According to his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend his Interment on Thursday, June 30 at 1:30 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard followed by a memorial reception in the Funeral Home.
