Remaining to cherish Germaine’s memory are her children, Diana Gadway (Ron), Janine (Paul) and Gary; her grandchildren Angela Gadway (Cory), Kelly Gadway (Oliver), Michele, Samantha and Benjamin Puky; great-grandchildren Emily, Ava and Talia; and her sister Agnes.
Germaine was predeceased by her husband Walter, and her siblings Irene, Angel and Gerard.
Born and raised on a small homestead near Bruxelles, Manitoba, Germaine moved to Winnipeg in 1944 where she subsequently met Walter and married in 1951. A healthy and active person most of her life, Mom lived life to its fullest – “taking it as it comes”. She will be sorely missed.
A funeral mass will take place August 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 249 Arnold Avenue.
