With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Grazia Laforges, age 77. She was a loving mother of three, wife to predeceased husband Angelo Laforges for 53 years and grandmother to nine.
Grazia was born in 1946 in Italy, married in 1968 then moved to Canada shortly after with her husband. Grazia was full of life and ambitious. She was a beauty salon owner and hairdresser. She was a vibrant soul and a hard worker, she loved to socialize with others, travel and cook Italian food.
Grazia sacrificed a lot to provide a better life for her children. She leaves behind her children, Lino (Teresa), Madelynne (Brad), and Anita (Derek) and her grandchildren, Dante, Luca, Alyssa (Jordan), Luke, Jaida, Lacey, Jessica, Amelia and Emmett along with extended family and friends. She was loved and will be missed dearly.
Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am with condolences beginning at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave with interment held afterwards at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
