Hasumati Harkisandas Shah

On Monday January 31, 2022 Hasumati Harkisandas Shah passed away at age 89.

Hasumatiben was predeceased by her husband (Harksindas). She leaves her five children Bharat (Kala), Ila (Pankaj), Chandani (Harish), Dhiren (Sushma) and Dina (Hemant). HasuBa will be sadly missed by her ten grandchildren – Lena, Reena, Mansi, Bansi, Reema, Puja, Pratik, Priya, Juhi and Diya. She also had a beautiful smile every time she saw one of her six great-grandchildren.

Ba had an independent nature. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed feeding family and friends. For many years Ba was active with the Hindu Seniors and enjoyed everyone’s company there. She then was leading the Jain group of Winnipeg for many years reciting and singing prayers and participating in pujas.

Ba will be missed by her many friends and relatives here and across Canada, USA, UK and India.
