Aunty Himali always made us feel special with her sweet smile and sweet treats. We'll never forget how she took care of us - she made sure we had a continued supply of snacks, and also made sure we had healthy stuff. Especially when she asked us to sit and fed all three of us- me, my brother  and Kaiden  fruits and steamed broccoli - she was so kind. Aunty Himali always stayed upstairs with us while we played to make sure we were safe. 
We love her and hope she is in a happy place!

My deepest condolences Cecil uncle, Neeliya, Colin and Ashan. Cecil uncle and Himali aunt helped my dad when he came to Canada and remained friends all this time.  Himali aunt  always greeted us with a beautiful smile.  She was a very kind person. May she attain the Supreme bliss of Nibbana.

Dear Neeliya and family, 

I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember the first time I came to your family home after we became fast friends in Uni. From that very first visit, your mom made me feel so comfortable, she had a beautiful way of making people feel at home in her presence. 

I’ll never forget her warm greetings, her generous offers to cook for me, and the genuine kindness she showed me every time I came over. Some of my fondest memories are of being in your living room, smiling as your mom and dad sang karaoke to ABBA. There was so much love and joy in those moments, and your mom’s warmth was at the heart of it all. 

She was truly a loving, kind, generous and selfless woman. I feel grateful to have known her, and I will miss her dearly.

RIP Himali aunty! You were one of the most innocent, sweetest, and loveliest person I ever knew. You tolerated whatever life gave you with a great smile! I am pretty sure you have transitioned in to a happier Plain and may you be close to attaining the supreme bliss of Nibbana!🙏

As I visited with Himali, Cecil, and his three sisters in the hospital; it was like no time had past.  I could see the joy in her face and the few words she spoke reminiscing about our girls,  Neeliya, Janina and Jessica growing up together and maintaining their lifelong friendships.  We shared our mothering between the families and I thanked her for it.
This is sad, hard times now and we want to say to the family to lean on us as we are strong.  Himali knew this and that we are in this together that no one is alone.  Love the Kulik Family
