Dad lived life on his own terms—often quietly and independently—but always surrounded by love. He is deeply missed by his daughter Mary Lou (Stephen), his sister Laura (Dale), and his brothers Jim (Janet) and David (Gail). He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Bert and Mary, his half-brother Harry, his wife Joan, and his nephew David.
He was proud of his years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, serving communities throughout Saskatchewan and retiring as a Staff Sergeant in Kamsack.
My heartfelt thanks to the incredible team on 3E at Riverview Health Centre, and to those who supported Dad so he could remain at home as long as possible.
At the end of it all, what mattered most was love.
He gave it. He received it.
