Mr. Jacob Popoff

Jake is survived by his wife Roberta of 52 years, children Darla Hooker (Jake, Matt, Ben) and their father Michael, Kristin and Kevin Dyck (Shane and Riley) David and Megan (Zinnia and Leo Jacob) his sister Betty (Elmer Andrychuk, Kamsack, SK) and nephew Mark (Terri-Lynne and Tiana).

Jake spent his career at the Health Sciences Centre retiring as Administrator of Diagnostic Imaging. Jake was always an enthusiastic outdoorsman, a neighbor you could count on and he maintained a unique sense of humour – he was a legend.

The cottage at Victoria Beach, family and friends were a very important part of his life.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for their exceptional care and support.

Incompliance with Jake’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held. A gathering of friends and family in celebration will be held for you to walk in and share your stories with us on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
