With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mom, Gramma and GG on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Victoria General Hospital.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Allan in 2007. She is survived by her children Ellen, Howie (Lisa), Enid (John), and Claire (Geoff). She will be missed by her grandchildren Stephanie, Stephen (Lauren), Ainsley (Stephen), Christopher (Kaelyn), Ian (Marina), Jessica (Petar), and Zachary; and her great-grandchildren Ben, Olivia, Christopher, Jeannie, Theo, Charlie, Riley and Lily.
Jeannie was born in Gunton, Manitoba on October 5, 1924. She was a woman of a generation like no other. She was strong, loving and a guide to all of her family. Our matriarch will be sadly missed especially at her cottage during the summer for happy hour.
The family would like to thank Janna Kingdon and Access Fort Garry for their compassionate care and support over the years.
Cremation has taken place and a family service will follow at a later date.
