

the age of 94 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters: Hugh Savage (Ethel), Allan Savage
(Ruth Ann), Violet Waldner, Phyllis Reichert (Chuck), Rodney Savage (Lynne).
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family of friends.
She is predeceased by her mother Nina Almira (Crane), father John William Savage and sisters
Beryl Ruby Savage and Nina Savage.
Jennie was born in Lashburn Saskatchewan October 12, 1921. She received a Bachelor of Arts
degree from the University of Winnipeg on May 30, 1971 and worked for many years with
Home Care in Winnipeg. Jennie was very active as a Sunday School teacher at Elim Chapel, and supported many mission organizations. Jennie was very hospitable and would often have visitors at her home. She was also an avid gardener and had many plants in the planters in the front of her apartment building. Jennie loved to write and has self-published two books of poetry and a story of her early life called Reflections of a Farm Girl.
There will be a service of remembrance on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen
Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy.

Jennie. Also to Dr. Shawn Thomas for his faithful support to Jennie and her family. Special
thanks to David and Gayl Hrabok for their loving care of Jennie in practical and emotional
