Mrs. JoAnne Marie Therese Chaput Reece

On Saturday, March 24, 2012 with her family by her side JoAnne left us to join Buddy her soul mate on a new journey.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters Angela (Rian), Jayme (Colin), nephew Joshua (Megan), grandchildren Shawn, Leah, Logan, and Starr. She also leaves numerous family and friends.

JoAnne was born in St. Rose Du Lac to Alphonse and Grace Chaput. She lived the majority of her life in Lorette, Manitoba. In 1974 JoAnne married her soul mate Buddy together they lived an amazing life, always having fun even through the tough times.

Our mom was caring loving and always supportive. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren with every bit of her heart. Mom loved her yard and gardens but one of her most special moments was sitting on the swing with her best companion Teka.

The family would like to thank the Portage la Prairie General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit and Dr. Kinnear for their care and compassion during this time.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
