Joginder was an ardent nature lover. He planted thousands of flowers, bushes and trees, and converted every available nick and corner to idyllic landscapes. He lived a spiritual and hardworking life. As a professional mountain climber, he climbed to various Himalayan snow clad mountains. He lived life to the fullest and always followed his passion. He worked tirelessly in his agricultural pursuits, took training in modern agriculture and implemented it on his farm. He donated to everyone who knocked at his door. As a responsible father, he ensured the highest education for his children.
As a real down-to-earth man, Joginder remained president of Garden Lovers’ Association and organized annual fairs of various flowers, succulents and cactus. After retirement as a school teacher, he worked at various schools and colleges to transform them into booming and luxuriant gardens. As a literary and spiritual person, he went to higher reaches of the Himalayas for meditation and spiritual pursuits. As a left-leaning person, he remained president of the Teachers’ Association and worked tirelessly for fairness and equality.
A funeral service for Joginder will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB.
