He was born at St. Boniface and grew up in Victoria Beach with his French-speaking parents and brother Roger. His love of aircraft led him to a lifelong career at Bristol Aerospace repairing rockets, aircraft and helicopters. In his spare time, he tinkered with his car, and took great pride in an immaculate home and yard. He enjoyed planning and taking road trips with his family and always made new friends along the way.
He had two children from a previous marriage and one child with Margot, who he was married to for 52 years. There were three granddaughters (one who shared his birthday), and two grandsons. He will be greatly missed by them and everyone who knew him.
A private family service and burial will take place on June 24, the service will be live streamed at 2:00 pm on the Thomson “In the Park” Facebook page, you may follow this link to view it: https://www.facebook.com/Thomson-In-the-Park-Funeral-Home-and-Cemetery-1934981230093053/
