Joseph Barry Michael Ciwko

Suddenly, on May 8, 2026, Barry passed away at the age of 71. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine, stepdaughter Claire; in laws Deb and Aidan, Mary-Anne, Kelly and Kim, and their families; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and his long-time friends.

Barry was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Stephanie, sister Donna, and brother Ken.

Born in Winnipeg on September 10, 1954, Barry was a man of principle who took great pride in being an engineer and worked his entire career at Wardrop Engineering. Known for his wit, humour, and loyalty, Barry had the ability to solve any problem and repair anything that needed fixing. He enjoyed projects around the house and truly valued his neighbours.

Special thanks to his Wednesday and Friday buddies. Your comradery was very special to him.

A private family internment will take place.

His memory will be cherished forever.
