It is with a broken heart we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter and sister, Kathleen Ione Snell, on September 2 , 2023 age 29 years.
Kathleen or Katy as she was known to her many friends, graduated from Jameswood Alternative School in Winnipeg. She was a compassionate and loving soul, often putting others’ needs before her own. She will always be loved and remembered by those who knew her.
Kathleen is survived by her brother Michael and her Parents Alice and Robert Astwood and Glen Gulay, Grandmother Margaret Astwood, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
She will be welcomed into heaven by her Great-Grandma Gladys Ingraham, “Baba” Gulay, Grandpa Astwood, Grandpa Snell, and her namesake Grandma “Ione” Snell.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, September 22 at 2:00pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Those who wish to join virtually can select "Join Livestream" below.
