Lai Ming Fu

符麗明於1941年5月16日於廣東南海出生, 隨後移居香港並在香港長大, 於1959年嫁予林展明先生, 開展了家庭生活, 除了出外工作, 她更兼顧家庭日常一切事務, 永遠將家庭放於首位.

她於1988年移居加拿大, 大部份時間她都投放在照顧兩名孫女身上及照顧家裡每個人的需要. 此外, 她喜歡烹調食物,園藝, 熱愛運動, 更喜歡與朋友聚會, 談天說地, 她有一顆熱切而善良的心, 我們將永遠懷念她活潑幽默的一面.

最後, 我們家庭每位成員謹向St. Boniface Hospital 各醫護人員致謝, 感謝他們連日照顧及支援. 送別儀式將於2016年12月18日下午2時於Thomson in the Park at 1291 McGillivary Blvd.舉行. 瞻仰儀式將於早上11時至下午1時舉行.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Fu Lai Ming at the St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday December 13, 2016 at the age of 75. She is survived by her children Elaine Mei-Wai Lam, Gibson Mei-Chi Lam, Queenie Mei-Kuen Lam, and Cannes Mei-Yi Lam; grandchildren Ashley Tang, Tannie Lam, Andy Tang, Shirley Lam, and Cheryl Wan; and great grandchild Nathaniel Chen. She is also survived by two sisters and six brothers. Lai Ming was predeceased by her mother Lam Sai Mui, father Fu Sam, and her husband Lam Chin Ming. Lai Ming was born in Nanhai, China on May 16, 1941, but moved to Hong Kong shortly after where she grew up. She married her husband Chin Ming in 1959 and began their life together raising their family. Throughout her time in Hong Kong, Lai Ming worked outside the home in a variety of jobs and she always worked hard. Family was always important to her, and in 1988 she moved to Canada to be a part of her grandchildrens’ lives. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, exercising, visiting with friends, and taking care of her home and family. She had a close circle of friends who were attracted to her strong personality and kind heart. Her vivacious personality, wit, and sarcasm will be truly missed. The family would like to thank the staff St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday December 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson in the Park at 1291 McGillivary Blvd. Viewing will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
