It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lyle on February 1, 2014 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 75 years due to a lengthy illness.
Lyle is survived by his wife Shirley Schimanowsky of 44 years, sister Rose Kehler (Frank) of Oshawa, Ontario, daughter Ann Schimanowsky of Winnipeg, granddaughters Jessica and Victoria Schimanowsky, many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Lyle was predeceased by sons Ricky and Michael, parents Olga and Alec Schimanowsky and many friends.
Lyle loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a truck driver for many years.
In keeping with Lyle's wishes, a private family viewing will be held.
