Margaret Helen Jones

Peacefully following a brief illness, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Jones with family and clergy by her side on April 6, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Margaret is survived by her children Greg Jones, Glenn Jones (Pauline) and Susan Jones. Also surviving is her grandson Dylan Jones, brothers Allan Laughland (Elaine), Gordon Laughland (Roberta).

She was predeceased by her husband Alan Jones, her parents Robert and Dorothy Laughland

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, 3 St. Vital Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba (masking and social distancing in place).

The family would like to thank the staff of the Emergency Room and Ward 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent treatment and care provided to Margaret during her hospital stay. Also thanks to the Chaplains at St. Boniface and Reverend of St. Mary Magdalene’s Val From for their support and comfort during Margaret’s stay at the hospital.
