Margaret Schroeder, a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, in St. Boniface Hospital. Burial will be at Waverley Memorial Cemetery on October 31, 2024 at 10:30 AM.

Margaret was born on September 23, 1944, in Bifrost -Riverton Manitoba. Margaret’s warm presence and caring nature left an undeniable mark on all who knew her. Her ability to provide comfort and love made her an exceptional mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, roles she embraced wholeheartedly. Her interests were as vibrant as her personality. Margaret’s love for her family was incomparable, and she often expressed this through the time she spent with them, the care she provided, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Margaret son, Timothy, was her ultimate passion, and she devoted herself to being the best mother possible.

Margaret's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memories will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Margaret is survived by her son, Timothy Laferriere, partner Celestine Natividad, and grandson, Kaeden Laferriere. Margaret’s memory will be forever honored by her nieces and nephews who will miss her deeply and cherish every moment they spent in her nurturing embrace.

She was preceded in death by her father: Kristinn Erickson, mother, Sigridur Thorbergson and Husband Jack Schroeder

As we say goodbye to Margaret Schroeder, we celebrate the life of a woman who was a beacon of kindness and love. Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family, a testament to the beautiful life she lived, and the countless lives she touched. Margaret’s memory will be treasured forever, as we hold her close in our hearts and remember the light she brought into this world.
