Marie Louise Guenther

The family of Louise Marie Guenther (nee Hebert) is saddened to announce her passing on August 1st at the Seven Oaks Hospital after a short illness at the age of 96. She is survived by her children Linda McGregor (Doug), Susan Gill (Rick) and Dan Guenther (Ria). As well as her 6 grandchildren Robert, Kyle, Josh, Jeremy, Amy and Keri, 4 great grandchildren Joshiy, Bailee,Grayson, Brayden, Remaud and Amazelie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born in Elie Manitoba and predeceased by her 12 siblings and husband Abraham. Louise worked her whole life in Winnipeg and finished her career at Sims Cleaners while raising her family on Aldine Street in St. James.

Upon retirement, she maintained her home on Amherst Street looking after her immaculate yard and keeping the neighbourhood in order and entertaining her relatives for all occasions. She knew the birthdates and anniversaries of everyone of her family and was truly the matriarch and will be sadly missed.

Many thanks to the nurses and staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor Unit 1 and 3 and sincere gratitude from the family to Karen and Al next door for their dedication to Louise.

Her internment ceremony was held at Thompson "In the Park".
