Marion Helen Kshywiecki (Nee Pawloski)

October 17, 1929 – October 27, 2024
Obituary of Marion Helen Kshywiecki (Nee Pawloski)
IN THE CARE OF

Thomson In The Park Funeral Home and Cemetery

Always In Our Hearts

Peacefully, with family by her side, following a lengthy illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and Baba at Jocelyn House Hospice just ten days after her 95th birthday.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dan (Rose), Wally (Elaine), Pat, and Harold, grandchildren, Kevin (Siera), Kurtis (Grace), Michael, and Andrea. She also leaves to mourn her brother Peter Pawloski and her sister Helen Kakuk, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Tony, parents Peter and Julia Pawloski, brothers John Pawloski, Jack Pawloski (Dorothy), Al Dixon (Ina), Harold Dixon, sisters Nell Milne (Albert), Iris Petrachek (Sonny), son-in-law Dave Whitmore, brother-in-law Steve Kakuk, sister-in-law Shelagh Pawloski, niece Jennifer Phillips, and nephews Gary Pawloski and Paul Milne.

Mom worked hard her whole life raising four children on her own. After taking a hairdressing course she was able to open her own salon for a period of time. Following that while working as a waitress she met Tony and together they took on caretaking apartment buildings.

Mom loved getting together with her family. She especially loved Sunday afternoon card games followed by dinner. She also loved the times she spent babysitting her grandchildren. Mom had many hobbies. She loved crocheting and made many lap covers for seniors, as well as many slippers, handbags, pillows, and scarves for her family and friends. She also made her own greeting cards for family and friends putting her own personal touch to them. Playing Bingo and going to the Casino we’re also things Mom loved to do.

Mom will be missed by all who knew the kind caring person she was, especially her good friends Lena, Iris, and Faye.

As per Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and aids at Jocelyn House Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion towards Mom making her final days peaceful and without any pain.

If so desired donations may be made in Mom’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Jocelyn House Hospice.
