It's been a yr since you have left us and it hurts so much.  I will forever cherish the memories and carry a piece of you in my heart always 

From as far as I could remember granny treated me like one of hers. I was never her daughter's husband child I was her granddaughter.  She made me feel at home and made me a part of her family, me and my children.  The one thing I will hold on to is the fact that she always told me to trust in God. That God could one day free me from all my troubles. She was a beautiful, loving, God fearing woman. She will be missed by all whose live she touched.

my earliest memory of aunty oldie is when i was about 5 years old my mom her sister would take me to town i always got so excited  a trip from country into town meant  a day of shoping and being able to see my aunt and cousins.she was such a warm loving persons she always made us feel so welcome and special her home was warm inviting her laughter would feel the room up she had this melody in her voice i just love  it made you feel so at home that at the end of the day i wouldnt want to leave she was so giving and kind   through the years i never  forgot rest in heavenly  peace  aunty God saw you had suffered enogh and decide to call you home you will be miss.

Martina was born on the island of Dominica in 1933 and was the 4th of 12 siblings. In 1991 along with her predeceased husband Raymond, she migrated to Canada permanently. 
Mama was an amazingly strong woman who went through so much with her illness but bounced back time and time again.  She loved her family with all of her heart and had a unique relationship with everyone including her grandkids  and her great great grands who brought her so much joy. 
She was a Christian and had great faith in christ. 
She has left a huge hole in our lives that no one else can fill.
 Left to mourn are her kids
Mac,  Ivenia, Paula, Clem, Albert, Anita, Maureen Toussaint and adopted son Albert Labissiere 

We would like to thank all those who have supported us during the time of our loss. 

A Private family service was held.
