Mrs. Mary Braun Schultz

December 30, 1919 – April 29, 2010

Peacefully, on April 29, 2010, Mary passed away after a brief but courageous battle.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Aron, her parents and siblings.

Mary leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her children Margaret (George), Rose (Bob), Larry and Stan (Georgina), her grandchildren Wanda (Paul), Brent (Karen), Kim, Jeffery (Kristin), Samantha (Dale) and Ashley, and great grandchildren Chandra, Braden, Emily, Adam, Chloe and Kayla. She also leaves to mourn many extended family members and friends.

Mom had a kind, generous and caring spirit. She was dedicated to helping family members in need, and was a person those she loved could count on for support. Mary loved her family dearly and they were the centre of her universe. She looked forward to connecting with them on a daily basis.

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, with Pastor Leonardo Neitzel officiating. A private interment followed.

A big thank-you to the medical staff at Health Sciences Centre, especially Christine, Shirley, Wesley and Matthew, whose expertise and warmth made mom’s stay very comfortable, and they provided support for all of us during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, R3L 0K6.
