
In loving memory of Mary (Mae) White. Born December 30, 1924, passed away at Grace Hospice on Wednesday, November 10, 2010.
Mae was born in Winnipeg and worked at Hudson Bay House and later at United Grain Growers where she retired from in 1988.
Mae was an avid card player and huge curling fan. She loved travelling and went to a number of World Champion Curling events.
Mae was very generous with her time and did a lot of volunteer work. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and the United Church. She also was a long standing member of the Sorority Beta Sigma Phi.
Mae loved life and had a great sense of humour. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Mae was predeceased by her father John, mother Elizabeth and brother, Jack Wright.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn Simpson, nieces and nephews and their families.
Interment will take place Thursday, November 18th, 2010 at 3:30 P.M. at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
