Born Maureen Morris in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Maureen, with her family by her side, peacefully passed away following a brief battle with breast cancer at 57 yrs old.

Maureen came to Canada in 1970 as a young teen, where she met her singing prince Tony, and they built a beautiful life together. I looked back at the many Anniversary cards that you sent us over the years and smile. Touched by the spiritual words and encouraging messages that always lifted us up.

Maureen, although we will see you in heaven someday, we miss you now. Like the many blessings you shared with others, our blessings go out to all that are grieving and go with you as you reside with God.

Farewell Dear Sister-in-Law.

Although no words can really help to ease the heartache that your family feel, I pray that the care from all those who share your loss brings comfort and peace of mind to your family.

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
