It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Memory Rennie (née Semrick) on March 9, 2026, at the age of 81 years.
Memory was the beloved wife of Bill for 54 years prior to his passing in 2020, and mother to her daughter Becky and husband Ian, her son Mike and wife Jen. She was also a loving Granny of Logan, Sean and Liam.
Mom is also survived by her brother Terry and wife Wanda, sister Eva, and brother-in-law Jim and wife Linda. She was also Auntie Mem to several nieces and nephews.
Mom spent her early years as a school teacher working in both Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg schools. After her children were born, she devoted her time to volunteer work, mostly at the local school and as a Brownie leader (Brown Owl) with the Girl Guides of Manitoba.
In her spare time Mom loved to be out in her garden, working on her beloved cross-stitch and spending time with her friends. Her time spent with childhood friends and her stitching group was very dear to her.
As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
