I only recently found out about the passing of Michelle and was so saddened by the news. We dated when we were both 19. We met at Club Soda in Windsor Park. I saw her on the dance floor but was shy and she ended up asking me to dance. I remember her being the nicest, sweetest person and can see that carried on throughout her life. The world lost a very special person.

My condolences to Michelle's whole entire family.  I met Michelle at Urban Circle Training Centre Inc.  Michelle will be remembered by me as a beautiful, bright, compassionate, caring and happy student who was willing to help anyone in their time of need.  She always came in with a smile that could light up the darkest place and a cheerful good morning to us. Michelle was one of the OVJ OGs and first one to train me as an EA. We developed a good friendship throughout the years. I always enjoyed catching her at work to gather some of her positive vibes, chat about life or our plans for the weekend. "No plans are the best plans" she would always say to me when I had nothing going on. I will miss her one liners and her playful attitude. She would tell me about her nights on the town or what the boys were up to. Always positive, enjoyed your presence Michelle. You will and have been missed at OVJ. Rest In Peace ❤. Michelle worked with my son Joshua in his early years at OVJ School. He was very blessed to have her as one of his EA's. She was a kind, compassionate, giving person who became a dear friend to our family. I will always remember our walks together with Joshua when he was still a little boy. We shared good talks about life, family and how proud she was to be a Mom of two boys. They were everything to her. On what would be the last time I'd see her while shopping during the Christmas season of 2020, she was smiling, cheerful, and so happy to share how her two boys are now grown young men. She happened to be shopping for their gifts. Although brief, I will cherish our conversation. We hadn't seen eachother for years. It was a moment of joy, happy tears, and air hugs. I am so thankful for that day and I am thankful to have known such a beautiful, loving soul. We will  miss you Michelle.  Rest in Peace dear friend♡

I met Michelle through her lifelong best friend  Judi ….we quickly became good friends … such a sweet kind and positive friend you could ever wish for. She saw no ill in anything or anyone she would always find the good. Even when she was diagnosed she was positive and bright.  We shared laughter, tears, hugs , lots of great lunches and dinners and many hour plus long chats on the phone when we were all stuck at home with no visiting. Quirky and funny she could always lift your mood as she truly was such a positive vibe it was sometimes hard to realise how much she was dealing with. Michelle my dear friend I will miss our chats, our “ ladies that lunch” and that smiley goofy personality but I will remember fun times in Vegas, memories of the lake and our sailboat adventure and our lovely chats over lunch …. You are one special lady who will live on in the wonderful memories you left us with and your two lovely boys xx

Michelle will always be remembered as a very positive, friendly and outgoing person. She was always happy and smiling. My condolences to her boys and family. She will be very much missed at OVJ.❤

Michelle always approached obstacles with an "I can do this", "I got this", positive attitude. My fondest memories of her at O.V.J. are her filling me in on her sons' accomplishments. She was a very proud mom. She developed relationships easily with students as her kindness and ability to authentically make connections just came naturally to her. So much so, that she made friends with many of her students' families. O.V.J. has lost a part of our family, we will do our very best to honour your memory, Michelle.    

Our little sister is gone too soon. Her little impish face will forever be a warm vision to me.  She inspired me with her pure love, generous and honest nature she shared with everyone.  She was unique, quirky, funny, nutty even, but really a one of a kind. A rare combination of passion, angst, and  a fighter for what she believes in or loves. This is how I will remember Muffy, and honor her memory as her big "Bubber."

Myself and my son Andre  want to send our condolences to Michelle’s family. She was always there helping my son when he need her .  She was very loved by our whole family . We will miss her very much  😢

I met Muffy in January of 2017 after a few months of Immigrating to Canada, my first impression of her was a lasting impression.  She was genuinely kind, with beautiful smiling blue eyes and always had the niciest things to say. She was a happy beautiful soul who wanted to see everyone happy. When she was first diagnosed with Cancer,  I visited herin hospital and Muffy was her jovial self. She was still full of laughter and smiles were most would be sad and down based on the situation.  Unfortunately covid prevented us from seeing each other but my memory of Muffy will always be a down to earth beautiful woman who always spoke proudly of her boys, loved her close friend Judi unconditionally,  never spoke ill of anyone, was very forgiving and loved her children in school who she often spoke foundly off. Muffy may not have had the best the world had to offer but she offered the best she had to the world, her kind beautiful heart and soul. Rest well my friend, you fought a brave fight.  Fly high with your angel wings. You will be missed. 

I was so surprised and saddened to hear of Michelle's illness and passing. She was such a bright, loving person. When I taught her sons, I always tried to save her meetings for last because she would always have such cheerful and uplifting things to say. Her support as an EA and as a parent were especially meaningful to me as a new teacher, and I wish I'd had more opportunities to see her outside of school. Her children are a testament to her love and brilliance.
