Myrna Charlene Protosavage

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Julie Ogden (Shawn) and son, Robert Protosavage (Tara), grandchildren Charlene Ogden (Josh) and Shelby Ogden (Brandon). Also she leaves behind a sister Anne Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Milton, parents Elmer and Peggy and brother Dennis .

Myrna was born on June 17, 1939 in Russell, Manitoba to parents Elmer and Margarete McCauley. She graduated from nursing in 1958, working in various clinics until being hired at the University of Manitoba in Internal Medicine. She was also involved in Beta Sigma Phi for many years. Upon retirement Myrna travelled to many places with friends, Greece, Portugal and Alaska being her favorites.

Myrna kept busy with volunteering, and spending time with her grandchildren. Once she couldn't drive anymore, Myrna enjoyed country drives, a nice meal in a restaurant and most of all ice cream.

A memorial service for Myrna will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
