

With deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Natividad Nieto on December 16th, 2022 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his father Margarito and sister Teresa.
He is survived by his loving wife Francisca with whom he spent 48 years, his children Xenia and Noel and granddaughter Mila. He is also survived by his mother Lucia and his siblings Rosalina (Raul), Alicia (Jose), Mercedes (Jose), and Miguel (Sandra); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Natividad immigrated to Canada from El Salvador in 1984. He often spoke about his home country with pride. He attended Tec Voc high school and later became a mechanic at George Smith trucking. He had a strong passion for mechanics and you would often find him working on vehicles during his spare time. He later became employed with West Steel, before retiring in 2016.
Natividad was a hard-working, humble, generous and loving man of faith often helping others whether it was his children or a stranger passing by. He enjoyed reading the bible and attending church. He dedicated his life to God.
Natividad will be remembered as a selfless and loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Natividad will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg, MB, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Religious service will be officiated by Pastor Ricardo Acosta, Pastor Jose Toruño and Pastor Roberto Hernandez with interment and reception to follow.
