

Pat was born on April 12, 1937 in the village Lintlaw, Saskatchewan. She was born to parents John Patrick and Edith Linnea McMahon (nee Berggren). She was the youngest child with two older siblings Norein and Larry (Celine) McMahon.
She attended Notre Dame College in Wilcox, Saskatchewan from 1944-1955. She married Ralph Jerome Dougan in 1959 and moved to the United States where she had four beautiful children. She and the four kids returned to Canada in 1972 where she then moved to Calgary, Alberta. She remarried to Dennis Alvin Lenihan in 1975 and moved to Olds, Alberta in 1976 with her family where she was blessed with another child in 1977. She moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1982 and worked with Revenue Canada for nineteen years. She was very loved by her co-workers there. She enjoyed eleven years of retirement filled with traveling and her grandchildren.
In June 2013 she suffered a stroke but recovered valiantly until she passed unexpectedly from heart complications on November 7, 2013. She passed surrounded by family at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is survived by her five children Michael, Colleen, Steve (Colleen), Jeff, Shawna (James); her six grandchildren Jonathan, Kyle, Shaun, Kathryn, Riley, and Emma; as well as her two great grandchildren Mathew and Caitlyn. She is also survived by her children’s many friends who loved her like she was their own mother.
She was extremely loved and will be deeply missed.
