Peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital with family by her side.
She leaves behind her son Larry (Joyce), daughters Lynda (Garth, deceased), Laraine (Ray), and her sister Grace and brother Tom. As well, grandchildren David (Lynn), Scott (Jen), Dawn (Joe) and great grandchildren Jenny, Francesca, Stuart, Alec and Courtney. One great great grandchild, Hailey.
She was predeceased by her husband Ed of 69 years in December 2008, a son, Layne and granddaughter Debbie.
Mother allowed her creative personality to bloom later in life when she started creating beautiful ceramic pieces and then moved on to paintings. She got great pleasure out of looking at all her ceramics and paintings displayed throughout her home.
There will be a private family funeral on March 11th.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, they may make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of their choice.
