Pritam Singh Dhaliwal, 65, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family and friends on June 19, 2015.
Pritam is survived by his wife, Sukhwinder Kaur Dhaliwal of 33 years and his sons Sunny Dhaliwal (married to Raman Dhaliwal) and Navie Dhaliwal and daughter Raji Sandhu (married to Baltej Sandhu).
Pritam was a loving father, husband, brother, son, grandfather and friend to all.
Pritam Dhaliwal, son of Gurnam and Gubachan Kaur Dhaliwal, was born on May 17, 1950 in Talwandi Bhangaria, Punjab. Pritam left Punjab for Manila Phillipines in 1970. He remained there for 6 years and immigrated to Canada in 1976. Pritam was an owner operator of a Unicity Cab for 29 years.
Pritam loved his family and friends. He enjoyed going for walks, gardening, watching sports with his family, and listening to the Indian news.
A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg MB.
