My deepest sympathies and condolences in the sudden loss of Bob to Val and all his family and friends.  Bob was an amazing gentleman on all accounts and he will be greatly missed.  Truly a major loss, he will always be fondly remembered by all but in particular by his work family and friends here at Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries.

We, like many others, were saddened to hear that Bob suddenly passed away.  He was such a kind and caring person especially to my mother, Bertha Pasieka. Bob and Val have been true friends. Our deepest sympathy to Val, his brother Ron, family and friends. We will be remembering all in our prayers.

We were shocked and saddened to here of Bob's sudden passing.  I found Bob to be an intelligent, kind, caring, witty and humorous person with a deep concern for the environment and for the humane treatment of animals.  At our "19th hole" and "Friday happy hour" discussions, Bob added an interesting perspective to many topics and when it appeared that our discussions were beginning to revolve around somewhat questionable background data, Bob was quick to pull out his I-phone and provide the factual details.
Viewing the attached photo evoked a feeling of sadness but also a feeling of thankfulness for the many great times we shared. Thanks Bob, you will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Bob's sudden passing. I had been thinking about him just a few days earlier and was heartbroken that I didn't contact him then. I got to know Bob through work many years ago and enjoyed many Friday get-togethers with him and other coworkers. I will always remember him dancing up a storm at my wedding social back in 2001. My deepest sympathies to Val and his other family members. Dr. Bob, you will always hold a place in my heart. You were a truly special individual and I will miss you.

We were deeply saddened when we heard of Bob's sudden passing. He was a kind and caring person and a dear friend. There will be sadness and a feeling of emptiness when the group meets for Friday night drinks at the usual spot.  Our hearts will ache, but we try to find comfort thinking of all the Fridays in the past when we gathered to discuss the events of the week and share some laughs. Our deepest sympathy to Val. Bob will truly be missed.

Bob will be missed big time here at Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, always being Happy, Kind, with a great sense of Humour, and witty. Bob was great to work with and I will miss seeing you in the morning getting your coffee and the "Hey, Morning Dr. Bob" greeting and you always were humble. Take care, we will miss you, truly a good hearted person.

Bob will be missed at the Squash Club.  Our condolences to Val and the family. Bob had an understated but great sense of humour.  He often added a unique perspective to conversations.  Bob was well respected by everyone - and a very good squash player.
