Ronald Irwin Propp

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Propp, widower of Annette Propp on November 9, 2022 at 85 years of age.

Ron was born to Jacob and Molly (nee Ruf ) Propp on March 18, 1937 at Rhein Saskatchewan. He attended school in Rhein, Sask. along with his sisters Barb and Audrey. He was employed by C.N.R. working his way up to engineer. He was proud to work for this company and enjoyed going to work.

Ron married Annette in 1977 and they made their home in Winnipeg. After they retired, they travelled extensively and spent many winters in Mazatlán, Mexico. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Blue Jays, was meticulous about his yard and adored his “Princess”.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Annette and niece Valerie.

He is survived by his daughter Melanie and grandson William of Saskatoon, sisters Barb (Stuart) Greenstein of Yorkton, Sask., Audrey (Lawrence) Herman of Rhein and several nieces and nephews and many cherished close friends.
