Remembering Rosemay with love,

Rosemay will always hold a very special place in our hearts. She had a beautiful way of showing love through her kindness, generosity, and the little things she did that meant so much.

Yuven and Koven lovingly called her Popo Rosemay, as she was like a grandmother to them. She never forgot their birthdays, each year preparing noodles with care and giving a hongbao envelope, always with such joy and affection. These thoughtful traditions brought so much happiness to us and are memories our family will cherish forever.

Rosemay was also a source of wisdom and guidance to us. She would always offer thoughtful advice on everything, from raising our children to sharing recipes, traditions and values, just as a mother would. She was truly our Winnipeg mom. Her words, her care, and her presence helped shape our family in meaningful ways.

She also brought so much warmth to our small Winnipeg Mauritian community. Rosemay truly enjoyed taking part in our gatherings and picnics, always arriving with her delicious meefoon, wontons and napolitaines to share with everyone. Her presence made these moments even more special, filled with laughter, connection, and a sense of togetherness.

To us, Rosemay was far more than a friend, she was family. Her gentle spirit, her warmth, and her giving heart will continue to live on in all of us.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

You gave so much of yourself to others, always with a smile, never expecting anything in return. The love and warmth you shared will forever remain in our hearts.

Rosemay was a beautiful soul leaving behind a trail of beautiful memories.  She was one-of-a-kind talent in the kitchen who expressed love through the delicious food she prepared and every meal at her table felt like a warm hug.  We hold the family in our hearts and pray God to give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time.  Sending much love and comforting hugs to her husband Lindsay and her daughters. To the Chung family, I am deeply sorry for your loss.  My heart goes out to you .  Sending you the biggest hugs.  

I have a few memories of Rosemay and it always had to do with food.  I remember Chris inviting me over and her mom taught me how to make moussaka and getting me to pay attention to stirring the bechamel sauce.  And everytime I'd go over to pick up an order of fried wontons, she would make me a little something extra and we'd have a nice chat.  

She was the sweetest lady :)

Dearest auntie Rosemay. You were the kindest person in the world with the biggest heart. No one could cook better than you. No one thought about her family and nephews like you would. We miss you so much and love you dearly. From Jeff and Victor.

Rosemay was such a beauty both inside and out. She was so positive and brave during her fight. Lindsay was her  rock  and she was his .. I am so grateful to have known this sweet lady who generously shared her delicious buns and wonderful wontons. How lucky was my family to get her gift of wontons this past Christmas even though she was so ill. Rest easy my special gem .. how lucky am I to have known you ❤️
