

Sellamma Mahadevanpillai left this earthly realm on January 1st of the new year 2022 after a long battle to survive and be with us. She was 95 years old born in Kadduvan, Tellippalai Srilanka.
Sellamma will be missed and lovingly remembered by her younger sister Neasamma and her stepsisters Devi and Kanagmani. She was a mother for her only one daughter Chandraleka Kamaleswaran, her sons Suseendrabose, Devendrabose, Raveendrabose, Panchendrabose, Jeyakumar, and was predeceased by her eldest son Chandrabose, daughter-in-law Wimaladevi, and her older sisters Alakamma and Rassamma. She is survived by son-in-law Kamleswaran Ratnasingham, her daughters-in-law Arunthathy Chandrabose, Shivanthi, Dharshini, grandchildren Ayesha, Bruno, Mina, Suren, Partheepan, Pratheepan, Balaji, Shairan, Vinit, Nishan, Ranish, Shivram, Deepa, Kapilan, Nivethan, Kapish, Anish, Thanish, and as well as other family members and countless friends.
She has shown numerous acts of resilience in her life achieving many great things, one being, working together with her military minded late husband for the betterment for the children. A very strong religious minded person and will be a great loss to all. The family would like to thank the Golden Door Nursing Director of Care- Meera Djokic, Care Coordinator- Sandra DeMarco, Care Coordinator, nurses, health care staffs, recreation staffs, and kitchen staffs for the special care they showed for Sellamma during the time, their kindness meant a lot to her and to us. We would like to give special thanks to all the other staffs and home care workers who took care of Sellamma.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 9th at 2:00 pm at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd.
Nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much!
