On September 17, 2012, Sila Papathi Ramanathan passed away peacefully in her sleep.
She continues to be deeply loved by her daughters Valli and Shanthi, her son Mohan, son-in-law Krishnan, grandchildren Yoghander, Sassinder, and Menaga, brothers and sisters and family in Penang, Malaysia as well as her family in Canada, Karin, Lisa, Laura, Diane, Jack and Phil, and also she will be missed by many dear friends too numerous to name who walked with her in this life.
Sila touched so many hearts in her 75 years on this earth. As we grieve our loss, we celebrate Sila’s life and though she has left her body temple we trust that her spirit lives on in freedom.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
