It is with great sadness that the Mehta family must announce the sudden passing of Sita, daughter of Naresh and Asha Mehta, sister to Sima Trivedi and Bina Mistry and niece, cousin, aunt and friend to many. She will be missed by all.
Sita was a warm and generous person with a kind heart and soul, and always kept in touch with loved ones to help when she could. As a respiratory therapist at Grace Hospital, her warm personality and empathy were critical in helping her patients recover and cope.
Sita had been suffering from severe fibromyalgia and all the auxiliary symptoms that go with it for several years now, but her premature passing has left the family and community shocked and stunned.
Funeral services held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral home 1291 McGillivray Boulevard followed by a cremation.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Winnipeg Region 432 Ellice Avenue Winnipeg, MB R3B 1Y4.
